Our goal will be to help educate you about this unique and fantastic breed, and to help those people who really are interested in finding a well-bred quality Irish Wolfhound. There is a lot of information out here on the web, some of it good and some of it not. There are also some glorious web sites run by people who breed Wolfhounds simply for profit.
Why not take the time to search for a companion wolfhound from a breeder who has proven themselves to be true caretakers of this breed? These are breeders who belong to National and Regional breed clubs and are committed to raising quality Irish Wolfhounds, not a quantity of Irish Wolfhounds. These are breeders who use the AKC Standard of Excellence as their guide and research pedigrees to improve their lines. They do their best to breed healthy hounds that are among the best examples of the breed, and they breed only when they want to keep something from the litter for themselves.
These breeders know that every puppy in the litter is not show or breeding potential. Though they are well bred, some will need good families to love them. On occasion there will be an adult or
yearling available that perhaps has finished showing or did not attain exactly what the breeder was looking for in carrying on their line.
Somewhere there is a hound from a good breeder looking for a home and a good family.
